Export your Aha! Ideas as CSV (UTF-8) and upload to IdeaLift. Our Aha! preset recognizes the export column names including reference numbers, vote counts, and workflow statuses.
Note: Make sure to select UTF-8 encoding when exporting.

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Export from Aha!
- Go to Ideas in your Aha! account
- Filter ideas if needed
- Click More options (…) → Export
- Choose CSV format with UTF-8 encoding
- Include all columns you want to migrate
- Download the file
Step 2: Upload to IdeaLift
- Go to Dashboard → Import
- Click Aha! in the "Import from Tool Export" section
- Select the CSV file you exported from Aha!
- IdeaLift will auto-detect your Aha! columns and map them to the right fields
Step 3: Review & Import
- Review the column mapping — adjust any that look wrong
- Choose your default status for imported ideas
- Click Preview Import to see a sample of your data
- Click Import to complete the migration
