Overview

Connect Intercom to IdeaLift to automatically capture feature requests and feedback from your customer support conversations. Never lose valuable product insights buried in chat transcripts.

Requirements

  • IdeaLift Growth plan or higher
  • Intercom account with API access
  • Admin permissions in your Intercom workspace

Setup Guide

1Connect Intercom

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations
  2. Find Intercom and click Connect
  3. Sign in to your Intercom account when prompted
  4. Authorize IdeaLift to access your conversations

2Import Conversations

  1. After connecting, click Sync Conversations
  2. Choose a date range to import from
  3. IdeaLift will analyze conversations for feature requests
  4. Review extracted ideas in your inbox

3Review & Organize

  1. New ideas appear in your Inbox
  2. Each idea links back to the original conversation
  3. Customer info is automatically attached
  4. Merge duplicates or categorize as needed
